Fugle Forever RCOFO Leather Keychain

Fugle Forever RCOFO Leather Keychain
Back in the summer of 2020 the city of Sioux City was following up on their “Red Tag promise” of demolishing Tom’s shop and they had their excavator and wrecking crew on site going room by room tearing down the walls that were once lined with chopper parts and Dave Mann artwork atop the hill at 1926 West 3rd Street in Sioux City. The demolition crew started at the back of the shop, which housed Tom’s print shop for decades and was where he stamped and pressed much of his hand-made leather work. The excavator made quick work of the South end of the shop but ran into major problems as it moved into the “heart” of the shop. The excavator struggled to get the walls to budge and began to overheat again and again and give the operator hell as he tried to tear down the Wizard’s workshop that had housed some of the most mind-blowing chopper creations mankind has ever seen. Tom’s old lady joked that this was Tom giving the middle finger back to the city one last time
Sadly, after some work on the equipment and the help of another demo crew, the shop was eventually demolished and hauled off to the local dump, truck load by truck load. The Shop is gone. Forever.
Thankfully, we were able to salvage most of the contents of the shop prior to the demolition and safely relocated thousands of shop items to a nearby storage unit. As time continues to pass, we are slowly getting around to unboxing much of the contents we re-located and want to try and share as much as we can whenever possible. Recently, we uncovered a box of surplus scrap leather from the shop that Tom surely had plans for but ran out of time on this earth before he could turn it into one of his custom creations. We took these old scraps, along with Tom’s old hand tools & stamps and created a small batch run of “Fugle Forever RCOFO” keychains. Throw this soft leather keychain on your chopper key and cruise forever with the spirit of Tom Fugle. Each piece is unique in its own way and we will not take requests as far as which color or style you prefer with your order. Once they are gone, they are gone. Proceeds will be directed to Tom’s family and will go towards payment for the continued storage of Tom’s belongings.
